about

Think About It screams out to those who are fighting for change, seeking freedom, hoping for humanity to buck up, accept it’s mistakes, and resolve the issues that plague us today. With the convulsions of rage that are occurring in the Black Lives Matter movement it has been made clear that racism is still a major problem, governments are still killing their own citizens, and education is manipulated to root this all into society. Silence only perpetuates this violence.

Don’t let egos get in the way. Don’t let crooked leaders stop us from changing the channel. Don’t let anyone stop us from saving us from ourselves.

lyrics

Verse:
Why don't you think about it
Why don't you think about
Why you can't accept
We all make mistakes
But with such high stakes
Why don't you think about it
And act upon it
Admit it
You just don't give a shit

Bridge:
We're on the brink of mass extinction
Why only now have we made this distinction
We are not misguided
We've just been divided

Chorus:
Stop playing your games
(You can't see we're the same)
Stop fanning the flames
(You can't see you're to blame)
Stop playing your games
(You can't see we're the same)
Stop fanning the flames
(You can't see you're to blame)
Of course we're angry
(You can't see we're the same)
Of course we're scared
(You can't see you're to blame)
We all have this
(You can't see we're the same)
Burden to share
(You can't see we're to blame)

Verse:
Why don't you think about it
Why do you just ignore
All the people you swore to protect
You can't just neglect
If you're responsible
The world's gone volatile
But it's no less futile
If we can rise above it

Breakdown:
Please feed my ego
With all these fancy placebos
I just want to feel I made a difference
Please just give me significance

Chorus:
Stop playing your games
(You can't see we're the same)
Stop fanning the flames
(You can't see you're to blame)
Stop playing your games
(You can't see we're the same)
Stop fanning the flames
(You can't see you're to blame)
And so we reach
Our final chapter
There's no redemption
No fucking rapture

Outro:
Why don't you just think about
All the pain all the guilt
Why do you only think about
Your own pathetic life
Why don't you just think about it
